On a somewhat familiar note that has almost nothing to do with Card...(sorry again...there will be more i promise).
I am getting married in 9 days. One week from Thursday. Can you believe it? I am so excited I can't wait for it to come. Then life can become what it was always meant to be. And people will stop asking me when I am getting married.
I am so excited...this day might just beat the day that I met Card...okay so it definitely will beat that day. But then it should, right? Anyway I will try to keep you updated...if not on Card for the next week then at least on the events and things taking place as I approach my wedding day!!!

- you wander with EG conspicuously looking for OSC people
- your friends threaten you with destruction of your collection
- you think reading only 2 OSC books a week is BAD

- you consider your bookshelf the most valuable thing in your room
- you can write every paper in class about Card
- you have to make sure your boyfriend is okay with your obsession

- and you finally realize Card is human (sorry!)

- you begin to buy Analog magaznes from 25 years ago
- you look up spark notes for Ender's Game
- and Speaker for the Dead
- even though you son't need them
- you can blame OSC for introducing you to hardcore Sci-fi like Asimov and Le Guin
- you know Card is called Scott by his friends and family
- which results in the nickname, Scard
- everyone in school calls him Scard
- even the teachers
- you own more than one copy of Ender's Game
- you can list the books by him that you don't own on a single sheet of paper
- you write letters to Card that you never intend to send
- you write letters to Card that you wish you could send
- you write your thesis on him
- you write a paper about him
- you research him on the internet
- you plan on attending SVU until you realize you don't have $16,000 for tuition.
- in your utter remorse you begin compiling all the information you can find about him
- you know where his section is in Borders
- you organize his section in Borders
- you own more books by him than Borders and Barnes and Noble combined
- he has a section in your bookshelf
- you deduce possible birthdates for Ender(and Peter)
- you buy a backpack with three days left of school because it's grey, orange, grey
- he has his own folder on your jump drive
- he has his own folder on your computer
